Turn Around Don’t Drown Poster Contest
This contest is open to all fourth grade students attending elementary school in the Great State of Oklahoma. Cash prizes of $250, $150 or $100 are awarded to the top three winners of the contest. The top 15 posters will be published in our Turn Around Don’t Drown Calendar.
Teachers must notify the Oklahoma Floodplain Managers Association (OFMA) when the posters are ready to be picked up. Your contact is: Dee Robison (918) 396-1900 or pshn10@live.com. The deadline for the posters is March 1.
OFMA will award certificates of appreciation to all participants and cash prizes to statewide winners.
Rules of the Contest
- Use only 8.5 x 11 inch white paper or poster board.
- Must be student's original artwork.
- No syndicated or copyrighted characters.
- No computer aided or copy-machine entries.
- Reproducibility of the poster will be a factor in the judge's decisions, so use contrast and bright colors.
- All entries become the property of OFMA. OFMA reserves the right to modify or reproduce any poster submitted.
- Print on the back of the poster Student name, Student parent's names, County, Teacher's Name, School Name, School Address and phone number.
